Trainee Life Saving Apparatus (LSA) Technician with Stores & Warehousing

D H Marine are looking for a motivated individual to join our team working with Life Saving Apparatus and stores. The successful candidate will receive certified manufacturers training in LSA equipment and progress through a Modern Apprenticeship in Warehousing, Storage and Distribution at SCQF Level 6 which will be completed as an online e-portfolio.

With the help and support of our team, you will apply the skills and knowledge gained from training in your daily work. Employees are expected to perform their training and duties safely and to the best of their abilities while consistently adhering to company policies and procedures.

Work tasks include:

• Conducting servicing and re-certification of customer Life Saving Apparatus such as life jackets, fire extinguishers and disposal of pyrotechnics.
• Stores duties such as preparing orders for collection or shipping and supplying equipment and parts to satisfy customer requirements.
• Enhancing your competence in stores and warehousing by working towards completion of your apprenticeship.
