Fixed Term & Casual

Temporary seasonal operatives are required to join our shore staff team to undertake general duties associated with the operation of the port during the busy summer ahead.

These diverse positions require the postholders to carry out marine related duties including mooring, letting go and watering vessels, operating the linkspan ramps and passenger walkway for ro/ro operations, as well as general duties around the harbour. An aptitude for marine operations is desirable but not essential as training will be given.

Applicants must be over 18 years of age and a full, clean driving licence is essential.

Hours of work will typically average 40 hours per week and can include weekend and ad hoc evening work. Overtime available for all positions.

Applicants must be physically fit and capable of passing a pre-employment medical.
