Job Title: Part-Time Taxi Driver

Hours: 20-25hrs per week

Location: North Mainland (Can keep vehicle at home)

 

We have a vacancy for a taxi driver to operate feeder and school services in the Brae area. A full Cat.B (car) licence is required, a taxi licence would be advantageous, but we will cover the costs of obtaining one for the right candidate.

To be eligible for a licence to drive a Taxi or PHC in Shetland you must have had the right to drive in the UK for the 12 months immediately before the date of your application. You must also have the right to work in the UK and be able to pass an enhanced disclosure PVG check to work with children & vulnerable adults.

 

Hours of work:

Split AM/PM shift Mon-Sat. Candidates can choose to work every Saturday or every second Saturday. Times are approximate depending on the successful candidate’s location.
