SUPPORT CO-ORDINATOR REQUIRED

SALARY SCALE £28,000 – £32,000 PER ANNUM (Pro Rata for part-time)

FIXED TERM to 31/03/2026

 

We require a Support Co-Ordinator (25-35 hours per week) to join our team. We encourage and support flexible working, 35 hours per week is considered full-time for this role. The post holder will promote and enhance employment opportunities within community settings for young people typically aged 15 to 26 years with barriers to employment. This includes engaging with employers, delivering 1:1 support in work places and attending meetings with young people, professionals and carers.

Experience of supporting Neurodiverse young people including those with Autistic Spectrum Conditions, Additional Support Needs, physical disabilities or other barriers to employment are key. Effective communication, organisational and computer skills along with a full, clean driving licence are essential.

Although this is a fixed term post there will be an opportunity for the contract to be extended should funding be confirmed. The post is based in Lerwick and the successful candidate will be expected to join the PVG scheme.
