About the Role: We’re currently seeking motivated and detail-oriented Stores Staff to join our team at our modern, well-equipped engineering stores located in Lerwick. As a vital member of our stores team, you’ll be supporting engineering operations and serving trade and retail customers with high-quality parts, components, and materials. With over 11,000 stock items on hand — and the capability to source virtually any product — your role will be crucial in helping solve our customers’ needs efficiently and effectively.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Preparing and organising orders for collection
- Raising purchase orders and processing incoming goods
- Generating sales and handling customer enquiries
- Taking special orders and ensuring timely deliveries
- Delivering excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment
- Assisting with stock taking and utilising our stock database system
- Supporting our skilled engineering teams
- Assembling hydraulic hoses to fulfil customer orders
