Part-Time School Bus Driver

We have a vacancy for a Part-Time School Bus Driver based out of our Lerwick Depot to cover a home-to-school contract to Anderson High School.

This is a term-time only position, although additional hours during school holidays or between school runs may be available if mutually agreeable.

 

Hours of work:

Either morning only or morning & afternoon between the following times:

Morning:  0715 – 0915
Afternoon:  1515 – 1715 (1330 – 1530 on Fridays)

 

What you’ll need:

  • Full Cat. D Licence
  • Driver CPC (if your CPC has lapsed, we would be able to arrange renewal for the right candidate) – periodic training will be provided during your time with us
  • Eligible to obtain an enhanced PVG from Disclosure Scotland – application arranged/cost covered by us

 

What we offer:

  • 30 days annual leave on a pro-rata basis
  • Competitive daily rate (amount dependent on whether you do AM or AM & PM)
  • Overtime paid at hourly rate
