Shetland – Sullom Voe Terminal
We are looking for additional personnel to join our team of Rigger/Operators at Sullom Voe Terminal. We have temporary and ad-hoc positions with potential full-time positions forthcoming. Successful applicants would be joining teams working on a rotation basis of 2 weeks on/2 weeks off, working 10 or 12hr days, dependent upon project requirements.
As part of a team, duties will include following detailed lift plans and risk assessments, obtaining and rigging up lifting equipment/accessories to carry out lifting operations. Duties may also include driving plant; cranes, HIAB, forklifts, depending upon the candidate.
The successful candidate(s) will hold an NPORS or OPITO Rigging qualification, preferably Competent level, and/or Crane qualification. HGV, HIAB, Forklift and/or working at height/harness certification/experience would be beneficial, as well as experience working in the Petrochemical Industry.
Candidates for this role will have good communication skills and be able to work well as part of a team. A commitment to health and safety is essential. Training and certification for driving plant will be beneficial. A Disclosure Scotland Certificate is a prerequisite for this role.
