Post: Full-Time Recreation Assistant. (This will be for Maternity Cover from 1 June 2025 to 31 July 2026.)
Location: West Mainland Leisure Centre
Salary: £28,585 to £29,371 per annum including Island Allowance
Hours of work: Average 37 hours per week. (Based on a two week working pattern.)

 

We may be open to discussing amendments to the working pattern, but these must meet the needs of the facility.

Overall Purpose of the Job

  • To work as part of a small team delivering a high standard of service to customers, which ensures they can make full and safe use of the facilities.
  • To assist with the effective and efficient day-to-day running of the centre.

 

Successful applicants will hold National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) or have ability to gain this within three months employment. If applicant does not hold NPLQ, a swim test must be completed prior to interview.
