Post: Recreation Assistant
(Maternity cover from 01 October 2024 for 12 months)
Location: Whalsay Leisure Centre
Rate of Pay: £13,713.22 per annum including Island Allowance
Hours of work: Average 18.67 hours per week, on a 3 week Rota

Overall Purpose of the Role

To work as part of a small team delivering a high standard of service to customers, which ensures they can make full and safe use of the facilities. To assist with the effective and efficient day to day running of the Centre.

Successful applicants will hold National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) or have ability to gain this within three months employment. (Full training will be given). If applicant does not hold NPLQ, a swim test must be completed prior to Interview.
