Job Title: Project Curator – Engagement
Overview: We have an exciting opportunity to support our work in protecting, enhancing and promoting Shetland’s Cultural Heritage as part of the team at Shetland Museum and Archives. The post holder will assist in project development and delivery to ensure the long-term care of, and increased access to the collection.
  • Co-ordinate a programme of public engagement and visitor feedback
  • Support the review of the permanent gallery space in Shetland Museum
  • Develop the potential reintroduction of traditional arable growing on site at the Crofthouse Museum
Location: Based in Lerwick with travel throughout Shetland
Job Type: Full-time, fixed term of up to 12 months initially
Salary: £32,172.24 (inclusive of Distant Islands Allowance and dependent on experience) (post is subject to a pay review)
