We have an exciting opportunity for a Procurement Coordinator to join the team and manage the procurement process within our factories, ensuring efficient sourcing of goods and services whilst maintaining supplier relationships.
ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for a proactive and detail-orientated individual. Your primary responsibility will be to maintain strong supplier relationships, driving cost-effective and timely purchasing solutions. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to make a tangible impact in a fast-paced environment.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
The ideal candidate will have strong negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain supplier relationships. You should possess excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities, ensuring procurement processes runs smoothly and efficiently. Experience in supply chain management, purchasing or procurement is essential along with a keen eye for cost-saving opportunities. Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office is desirable as well as the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
The role can be based at either of our South Shian or Lerwick factories with frequent travel between.
