Leanna is an energetic and friendly person who likes to be busy and enjoys company and activities out and about. Very rewarding job for the right person.

“I am friendly, outgoing and happy. I like being with people and company. I would like you to support my interests, develop skills and independent living and meal prep (some help with cleaning and boring stuff too), relaxation, social activities and keeping fit and active.”

 

Days and times available:

  • Weekends – activity out and about some Saturdays and Sundays, support my car boot sales
  • Thursdays
    2 – 4:30pm (to support with swimming. You must be happy to go in the pool with Leanna.)
    6 – 9pm (holiday cover)
  • Fridays
    12:30 – 5:30pm (holiday cover May and August)
  • Mondays
    10 – 5pm (holiday cover May and August)

 

Desirable qualities include:

  • Good communication skills
  • Good negotiation skills
  • Ability to deal with some behaviours that challenge
  • Sense of fun
  • Happy to support activities in the community
  • Willingness to support communication skills – Use of AAC Grid 3 on iPad
  • Knowledge or willingness to learn some signs – Leanna uses a mixture of Makaton/signalong/SSE
  • Good level of fitness – Leanna likes to be active
