Full-time Workshop Administrator Assistant – Lerwick Depot
Summary
We have an exciting opportunity for a Workshop Admin Support to join our busy Vehicle Workshop department at Anderson Base, Lerwick.
The Workshop Admin Support will work closely with the Workshop Administrator and Workshop Foreman on a range of administrative tasks to ensure the smooth running of the Workshop department.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities
- Producing job sheets for mechanics from Company’s garage management system.
- Answering calls and taking messages where necessary.
- Raising Purchase Orders and managing costs.
- Populating job sheets with labour hours and parts.
- Raising and issuing customer invoices.
- Co-ordinating and resolving invoice queries.
- Providing assistance and cover for Workshop Administrator as required.
Skills and Requirements
- Good IT skills and ability to work effectively within several different systems.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.
- Experience of admin tasks within a busy office environment.
- Ability to work both independently and as a part of a small team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Working knowledge of health and safety practices and principles.
