We are looking for enterprising and upbeat individuals to join Shetland Charitable Trust as volunteer trustees.

Over the years SCT has disbursed more than £350 million to a wide range of local charities to improve life in Shetland. Current grant expenditure focusses on supporting quality services in sport, recreation, heritage, culture, social care and the voluntary sector.

As a trustee you would be involved in continuing this financial support and overseeing the management of our investments worth nearly £500m.

Trustees attend four formal meetings a year and serve on an advisory committee. The work is unpaid but rewarding.

If you are interested, or you know someone who might contribute, please get in touch. More information and application packs are available from the website here or by email from mail@shetlandcharitabletrust.co.uk or telephone 01595 744 994

Closing date: 31st March at 12 noon
