Shetland Arts is looking for a Part-Time Maintenance Technician to join our team.

This role would suit a self-motivated, pro-active and adaptable person with strong problem-solving skills who enjoys a dynamic, hands-on working environment.

As a Maintenance Technician, you’ll be responsible for carrying out day-to-day repairs and maintenance across our estate, performing planned and reactive maintenance, alterations, new installations and minor works in order to ensure a safe, tidy and functional working environment.

This role is mainly based at Mareel, but you may be asked to work across our other venues when required.

  • This is a part-time position (30 hours/week).
  • Salary: £26,918 – £31,883 (pro rata).
