Scottish Sea Farms are a key employer within the Shetland Islands. We pride ourselves on working to make a positive change to our employees and the local community.

We are currently recruiting for Husbandry and Senior Husbandry staff to join our teams in the Setterness area.

Our farm roles are crucial to our success in ensuring the best management of our superior quality Scottish salmon. We want people to lead on fish health, feed and performance; to lead on Health and Safety; to drive change; to challenge us and themselves and in doing so, gain industry-leading rewards.

We are looking for ambitious individuals who are team players, proactive in health and safety and who pride themselves in delivering to a high standard. Our farm teams are in a key position and your input is critical to us driving performance. Strong communication skills, good work ethic and a problem-solving attitude are among some of the ideal qualities for these roles.

We encourage applications from individuals with experience in fish husbandry and those eager to begin their careers. If you’re ready to advance in the industry, our Senior Husbandry role might be the perfect opportunity for you.

In return we will offer an attractive salary, life cover, occupational health support and subsidised gym membership and cycle to work schemes.

To apply for a role with us you must be eligible to work in the UK. A full UK driving licence is an advantage but not essential for this role. You must be able to achieve and retain an ENG1 or ML5 medical.

To apply, please visit the careers page on our website: www.scottishseafarms.com/careers/current-vacancies/

Closing date for applications : 10/01/2025
