About the role
We are seeking a skilled and experienced HGV Driver to join our fleet. The successful candidate will be responsible for the transporting of chill and ambient goods to our customers, ensuring the safe and timely delivery of cargo. Additionally, this will involve multi drops and working within the warehouse. This requires a strong dedication to safety, attention to detail and excellent driving skills.
Salary on offer: £37000 plus overtime shifts at £18.50 and £23.50 per hour.
- Ensure all delivery notes are signed upon delivery
- Minimise the risk of accidents
- At all times deliver excellent customer service
- Adhere to road transport regulations
- Ensure the vehicle is kept to regulatory safety standards
- To assist with unloading at store
- To accurately record all activities in line with legislation and company requirements
About you
You will have a valid Class 1 licence, with current driver CPC; experience with the logistics industry is an advantage. Must have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Our ideal candidate will have good knowledge of DVSA and Drivers’ Hours regulations.
