We have an exciting opportunity for a Head Cook at our Briggistanes Café in the Lerwick Campus of Shetland UHI.
The Head Cook will work within our Facilities team alongside the Cafeteria Assistant to ensure that the café:
- provides high quality food,
- has a customer focused service,
- enhances our student experience, and
- meets all the relevant health and safety requirements.
The successful candidate must have previous experience as a cook/chef in a professional kitchen and supervising staff.
This is a permanent role working term time only in line with the organisational academic holidays, we are happy to hear from applicants who can work up to 35 hours per week, starting at 8.30am Monday to Friday.
Distant Islands Allowance is currently set at £2,742 (pro rata) which would be in addition to any salary payment.
