GENERAL ASSISTANTS – SEASONAL POSITIONS

  • Basic Sea Survival (Preferred) Not essential
  • Basic First Aid (Preferred) Not essential

Seasonal posts will be for a minimum of 24 weeks starting early/mid-April until around mid-September 2025 with possibility of an extension thereafter.

Additional GA Roles may suit students during School/College Holidays with both basic first aid and basic sea survival advantageous but not essential.

 

Candidates must be willing to work overtime including rotational weekends which will be paid with enhanced rates.

Candidates must be able to provide a Basic Disclosure Scotland Certificate no longer than 3 months old prior to start date.

Transport is provided between Lerwick and Sullom Voe with pickup points on the main route only.

Driving licence not essential but would be advantageous.
