GENERAL ASSISTANT – SHETLAND GAS PLANT

 

We have an exciting opportunity for a General Assistant to join our team at the Shetland Gas Plant, supporting the Peterson Warehouse team in their daily operations.

 

Key Responsibilities:

As a General Assistant, you will report to the Warehouse Focal Point and provide essential support across various warehouse and site activities, including but not limited to:

  • Issuing materials and equipment from the stores counter
  • Assisting with the receipt and unpacking of deliveries
  • Preparing and repackaging goods for return shipment
  • Selecting stock from pick lists and performing stock checks
  • Maintaining general housekeeping standards in the warehouse and site areas

 

About You:

We are looking for someone who can communicate effectively with colleagues at all levels and is dedicated to delivering outstanding customer service. The ideal candidate will:

  • Be safety-focused
  • Have some experience in warehousing and forklift operations
  • Possess basic knowledge of SAP, Warehouse/Inventory Management, and Microsoft Office (or similar software), though this is not essential as training will be provided.

 

This role offers the chance to grow within a supportive team environment while contributing to the smooth operation of the Shetland Gas Plant.
