A full-time position has arisen for a Duty Manager/Receptionist to assist in the day-to-day operations of the hotel.

This is a fixed term position until 23rd December 2024, with the possibility of long term employment.

 

Applicants will be responsible for taking reservations, cash handling, one-on-one interaction with guests as well as breakfast, lunch and dinner service.

Given that we are a small operation, candidates shall be involved in all aspects of the daily operation, including waitressing, bar service, washing dishes and maintaining cleanliness throughout the work area.

Any applicants should be

  • Highly motivated
  • Able to work well as an individual and part of a team
  • Well presented and easily approachable
  • Proficient in the use of Office programmes, such as Word and Excel
  • Customer focused

 

Up to 45 hours per week, working on a shift pattern. Hours will be on a weekly rota basis, shifts being Open (opening the hotel, roughly 5am – 3:30pm) & Close (closing the hotel, 2pm to roughly midnight).

Experience within the industry is required, however specific training shall be given.

Candidates who require accommodation will be offered a shared room. £130 per 4 weeks will be deducted for accommodation, and food will be provided only on days you are on duty.
