Job Description

We currently have an opportunity for a Depot Operations Supervisor to join us in our Lerwick depot.

We are offering a competitive salary for the position of Depot Operations Supervisor. You will be responsible for helping to oversee the all operational processes within the Lerwick Depot.

In this role you will support the Depot Manger in supervising a lower tier COMAH facility. The role involves overseeing the import of fuel from marine tankers, the loading of road tankers and all processes that support this.

We’re looking for:

  • Knowledge of / previous work within the fuel distribution industry
  • Good organisation skills and ability to prioritise
  • Good understanding of IT systems
  • Good listening skills
  • Excellent communicator
  • High degree of self-motivation
  • Resilient, persistent and tenacious
  • HSE qualifications are an advantage
  • Ability to manage change effectively
  • Can do, will do attitude

 

Desirable

  • Experience of working in a COMAH Facility
  • Experience of Process Safety
  • Experience of Aviation Fuel
  • Experience of Asset Management including Planned Preventative Maintenance
  • Experience of Contractor Management and Permit to Work
  • HGV licence and ADR is desirable

 

Training Provided

  • MCA level 4
  • Jetty Operations Training
  • Bulk Liquid Operations Training
  • Process Safety Training
