Vessel based in Shetland
Attractive salary and benefits with a 2 week on/off rota

 

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Deckhand for our Utility Vessel. This service vessel provides vital support to our marine salmon farms around Shetland, assisting with a varied range of tasks including mooring work, towage, fish health treatments, net changing, feed supply and distribution and much more.

The ideal candidate will have the knowledge of the marine/aquaculture industry and will have some sea experience. The candidate should also have a strong safety culture.

 

Below is the desired qualification although full training will be provided.

  • STCW

 

The vessel operates on a 2 week on/off rota system. The Vessel operates from Mainland Shetland and no accommodation is provided on board.

To apply for a role with us, you must be eligible to work in the UK.

A full UK driving licence is essential for this role. You must also be able to achieve and retain an ENG1 medical.
