Opportunities now exist for Customer Service Agents to join the Loganair team at Sumburgh Airport.
Applications are invited from candidates who naturally care about helping passengers and supporting the delivery of a safe and on-time airline. The operation is delivered seven days a week, and staff work to a roster, including morning, afternoon, and weekend shifts.
Customer Services Agent duties include escorting passengers safely and efficiently to and from the aircraft, checking passengers in for flights, dealing with freight and cargo enquiries and booking, and administration of our oil & gas customers. Agents work with fixed-wing aircraft and helicopters.
Agents must have excellent communication skills as they interact significantly with pilots, cabin crew, ground staff, and passengers. Customer service agent total starting remuneration is £28,259 rising to £30,339 after successfully completing probationary period.
Annual leave entitlement starts at 29 days per year and rises to 34 days per year. The company also operates a staff travel scheme for eligible staff.
The role on offer is a permanent, full-time position, 40 hours per week, though there maybe opportunities for part-time work. Overtime, covering colleague absences for training and holidays will be required from time to time.
