Are you looking for a thrilling career where every day brings new challenges and opportunities? We’re hiring a Crane Operator to join our team and take on exciting projects across Shetland.

 

What You’ll Do:

  • Operate cranes safely and efficiently in line with manufacturer guidelines and Peterson’s high safety standards.
  • Take charge of lifting operations, ensuring everything runs smoothly and securely.
  • Perform essential duties such as banksman and slinging, as well as other plant operations when required.
  • Be a key player in making sure all lifting tasks are carried out with precision, while keeping safety and people’s positioning top of mind.

 

What We’re Looking For:

  • CPCS Blue card and proven crane operation experience preferred, but we’re open to considering candidates with equivalent training, and/or a Trainee.
  • Banksman/Slinger certification is desirable to further enhance your skill set.
  • Additional certifications like Forklift (up to 16T), LGV Class C+E, or ADR? Even better—these will set you apart!
  • Flexibility to work overtime and outside of regular hours to meet operational demands.
  • A team player with strong communication skills, a commitment to health and safety, and a focus on delivering outstanding service.
