The Company

DITT Construction Ltd is one of the largest construction companies within Shetland. Our range of knowledge, expertise and ability allows us to undertake projects of all sizes, ranging from large scale Civil Engineering developments to Commercial and Industrial right down to smaller scale domestic works. Our works at the Sullom Voe Terminal has been ongoing for many years.

Due to our continued growth, we are now looking to expand our workforce. Hiring multiple candidates.

 

The Positions:   Excavator Drivers, Joiners, General Labourers

  • Sullom Voe Terminal.
  • Wages paid weekly.
  • Rate of pay based on experience.
  • Optional overtime available.

 

Responsibilities

  • Strict compliance with relevant health and safety protocols.
  • Awareness of environmental regulations.
  • Safely working as part of a team.
  • Comply with terminal rules and guidelines.

 

Desired Skills and Experience

  • Driving licence preferred.
  • Experience using plant is favoured (dumper, roller, forklift etc).
  • Basic knowledge of construction work.

 

Excavator Drivers

  • Must have appropriate tickets.
  • In depth understanding of heavy machinery and its protocols.
  • Ability to attach and operate a variety of attachments.
