Job Title: Children & Young People (CYP) Practitioner

Location: 121a St Olaf Street, Lerwick, Shetland, ZE1 0ES

Salary/Pay: £31,384 – £34,433 per annum, pro rata.  This is inclusive of the Distant Islands Allowance

Hours: Part-time (21 hours per week)

Place of Work: St Olaf Street Office, various support locations

 

Brief description of the role being advertised:

Shetland Women’s Aid are seeking a CYP Practitioner to join our Children and Young Person’s team. The CYP team at Shetland Women’s Aid works to provide quality, trauma-informed, therapeutic, emotional and practical support services for children and young people of all genders up to the age of 18.  Client eligibility criteria include those who have experienced Domestic Abuse, family breakdown, substance use (families affected by), Looked After Children (LAC), young people in their own unhealthy or abusive relationships, and other forms of gender-based violence.

 

This is an exciting opportunity for someone experienced in working with Children and Young People.

Training and support will be provided.
