CAD TECHNICIAN/DRAFTSMAN
(STEELWORK / PIPING)
Job Description
- Create high-quality technical shop drawings (Steelwork / Piping).
- Generate 3D models, 2D layouts and isometrics using Solidworks and AutoCAD.
- Conduct site visits and surveys when required.
- Ensure drawings are compliant with industry standards.
Requirements:
- Formal qualification in Engineering or Time Served (SVQ/HNC).
- Experience generating steelwork / piping drawings for fabrication, ideally within an Oil and Gas or Marine environment.
- Excellent working knowledge with 2D and 3D design packages AutoCAD, Solidworks (or similar).
- Good understanding of Microsoft Office packages (Word, Excel).
- Good attention to detail.
- Ability to work on own initiative.
