We have a vacancy at our Shetland Powder Coatings & Autobody Repair facility in Lerwick for an Auto-Body Repair Technician.

Candidate requirements:

  • Experience of working with sheet metal and/or automotive repair.
  • SVQ3 or equivalent in automotive refinishing or relevant previous experience is required though in-house training and formal training is available where needed.
  • Set-up and operate wet spray and powder coating equipment, including spray guns, booth systems, and ovens, following safety guidelines and standard operating procedures.
  • Perform powder coating processes, including surface preparation, material handling, spraying, and curing, to ensure high quality finishes.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the work area, including equipment, tools, and work surfaces.
