Nordri is looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our team as an Apprentice Plumber!

Nordri is a forward thinking, inotvative business in Shetland, where you’ll work alongside our experienced team, learning essential skills in a hands-on environment.

As a Nordri apprentice, you’ll collaborate on a range of different tasks; from installations to repairs, and receive live training that will set you on the path towards becoming a certified plumber.

ABOUT THE ROLE

  • Working under the supervision of our plumbers to complete tasks
  • Attend block release college
  • Assisting with the installation and maintenance of a variety of renewable energy solutions.
  • Collaborating with Nordri’s multidisciplinary team including Project Managers, Joiners, Plumber, Mechanical Engineers and Solar Technicians to deliver a variety of domestic, commercial and industrial installations.
  • Maintain a clean and organised work area and van
  • Follow all safety protocols and adhere to industry regulations

 

DESIRABLE SKILLS

  • Working at National 5 level with English and Maths preferable
  • Skills for work – Energy
  • Basic knowledge of plumbing equipment/renewables
  • Ability to use and knowledge of basic hand tools
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
  • Ability to work as part of a team with good communication skills
  • Passion to learn and suceed with plumbing, heating engineering and renewable energy
