Local Government Election 2022

The next local government election is taking place on 5 May. With some of the council leadership not putting their names forward again, a significant shake-up in local politics can be expected. Added into the mix this time is an increased emphasis on party politics, with the Scottish Greens, Scottish Labour and the SNP fielding candidates.
