A YOUNG Lerwick man was fined £200 for a viciously assaulting another man when he appeared from custody before the town’s sheriff court on Monday.
Samuel Scott, with address of 20 Ladies Drive, plead guilty to grabbing his victim by the throat, putting him into a headlock and repeatedly punching him on his head and body, all to his injury.
The assault took place at an address in the town on Sunday.
The 25 year old was also ordered to pay his victim £250 in compensation.
