News / Driver taken to hospital
A LORRY driver has been taken to hospital after his goods vehicle left the main A968 road between Voe and Mossbank around 12.20pm on Friday.
Police have closed the road while they investigate the crash, which took place around four miles north of Voe.
Officers joined fire crews from Lerwick and Brae who removed a fence to allow paramedics to reach the driver.
A police spokeswoman said it was not certain how long the road would remain closed, but requested drivers to take a detour through Brae.
