News / Alleged breach of the peace outside Marlex pub
A THIRTY three year old man was arrested for an alleged breach of the peace outside a Lerwick pub in the early hours of Monday.
Police attended the Douglas Arms, better known as the Marlex, in the town following a report of a disturbance.
Meanwhile, police were also called out after a one-vehicle road accident at the Brig o Fitch on Saturday evening.
Damage was caused to the roadside crash barrier but no one was injured.
Police also said there had been a number of minor incidents attributed to a sudden change in temperature and black ice on the road surface. Drivers are reminded to take care and be aware of the winter conditions and the effects they can have on the roads.
