Letters / Looking for photos of my late daughter
I wonder if your readers can help trace former friends of my daughter Amanda Laura Dwyer (Mandy Dwyer), who worked at the Gilbert Bain Hospital between 1988 and 1991.
She lived in the Brevik accommodation with other nurses.
I am trying to find anyone who remembers her. I would like to pass on news of her death 15 years ago when she was only 36.
I know she had good friends there at the time, some of whom I met when I visited.
I wonder if there are any photos of her that can be copied to me. She never liked her picture taken, so I have very few.
I know it’s a long shot but I would be grateful for any help. I have attached a photo of her on a ferry when she was in Shetland.
Thank you,
Laura Edge
