News / More Bergen flight capacity
LOGANAIR has announced that it is increasing capacity on its summer Shetland-Norway flights by using its larger Saab 2000 aircraft on the international route.
The Sumburgh-Bergen flights are run weekly every Saturday from 11 June to 27 August this summer and the change to the 50-seater aircraft will allow the airline to make almost 400 additional seats available this year.
Loganair’s director of revenue and schedule Roy Bogle said: “The Sumburgh-Bergen route is very popular during the summer months.
“Demand is so high we’ve increased capacity, which will be good news to people travelling between the Northern Isles and Norway.
“Summer is the perfect time to make the trip to the World Heritage city, which is surrounded by beautiful landscape and stunning scenery.”
