Letters / Looking for Jean Anderson
We are trying to find a woman from Shetland.
Her name is Jean Anderson (not sure about spelling). She went to Edinburgh, and we think she worked at the Royal Edinburgh Hospital in the early sixties together with her Faroese friend, Jona Johansen.
Jona went back to the Faroe Islands, and we think that Jean worked at Easter General in the eighties and nineties.
It is because of Jean’s Faroese friend, Jona Johansen, who also lived in Edinburgh then, we would like to get into contact with Jean or other friends, whom might have known Jona as well.
I am going to Edinburgh this weekend, 9 to 11 October, supposing Jean or maybe some of the friends are still there, I might be able to meet them.
Fingers crossed that somebody knows somebody, who knows…
Kindest regards
Eva Andersen
