Transport / Weather to impact Friday ferry sailings
THE WEATHER is set to impact all of Friday’s sailings to and from Shetland.
The Hjaltland will sail from Lerwick an hour early at 4.30pm tomorrow, with her arrival into Kirkwall later and Aberdeen the following morning possibly delayed by up to an hour.
The Hrossey will sail later than scheduled, meanwhile, leaving Aberdeen at 8.30pm instead of 7pm.
She is expected to arrive into Lerwick on time on Saturday morning.
Both freight sailings could also be affected, with the sailing of the Helliar from Lerwick to Aberdeen under review.
NorthLink said its departure could be delayed by three hours, with an update to follow on Friday morning.
The Hildasay will depart Aberdeen at 3pm on Friday, but her arrival into Lerwick could also be subject to delays.
