Transport / Freight sailings cancelled due to adverse forecast
BOTH OF tonight’s (Saturday) freight sailings to and from Shetland have been cancelled, NorthLink has said.
Sunday’s sailing of the Hildasay from Lerwick to Aberdeen has also been called off, with high winds forecasted for the isles over the coming days.
The Helliar will leave Aberdeen on Sunday night at 6pm but will sail straight to Kirkwall, where she is expected to arrive at 6am on Monday morning.
The Hildasay‘s sailing from Lerwick to Aberdeen on Monday night is also under review with a “high probability of cancellation”.
