Transport / Loganair lands at second place in Which? airline customer survey

LOGANAIR has come second in Which?’s annual customer survey on short haul airlines.

It was given a 72 per cent customer score, which was only bettered by Jet2’s 80 per cent.

At the bottom of the league table was Ryanair (49 per cent).

Loganair, which operates flights from Shetland as part of its network, was also given a five-star customer service rating.

Loganair CEO Luke Farajallah.

It was given four stars for the booking and boarding processes, as well as cleanliness.

The Scottish airline was given three stars for seat comfort and two for value for money.

It comes after new Loganair CEO Luke Farajallah took up post last year and sought to improve reliability after admitting it had “fallen short” in the past.

Commenting on the Which? survey, he said: “Loganair is renowned for its gold standard customer service, so it is very encouraging to be given a five star rating by our customers.

“We are also very proud of the improved scoring in our operation delivery which our team have had a particular focus on over the last 12 months.

“Our pricing model is based on fairness and simplicity. The price we present is the price customers pay. There are no hidden costs, and we offer up to 21kg of checked luggage and a drink and a snack, as part of our service.

“Being ranked as the second highest performing airline operating in the UK is a credit to our hard-working staff who deliver exceptional service daily.”
