Transport / Early ferry sailing due to high winds
THE HROSSEY will leave Lerwick early tomorrow (Wednesday) due to forecasted high winds.
She will sail at 4.30pm – an hour early – and her arrival into Kirkwall on Wednesday night could also be delayed by up to an hour.
Her arrival into Aberdeen on Thursday morning could also be delayed by up to two hours.
The freight boat Hildasay‘s scheduled sailing from Lerwick to Aberdeen on Wednesday night could also be delayed arriving into Aberdeen the following morning, again by up to two hours.
NorthLink had warned that its services could be disrupted from Wednesday through to Monday 24 February.
