News / Loganair flight diverted after medical emergency
A LOGANAIR flight from Sumburgh to Glasgow had to be diverted after a medical emergency onboard this afternoon (Monday).
A passenger was taken ill onboard the flight, which departed Sumburgh at 12.30pm, roughly half-an-hour in and the plane had to be diverted to Aberdeen Airport.
It is understood that the female passenger has since received medical care and is well.
The rest of the passengers were then flown onwards from Aberdeen to Glasgow.
