A BUS has slid off the road near Walls this morning (Wednesday) as snowy weather continues to disrupt travellers.

The number nine service bus left the road near to Tumblin in the early hours of the morning.

Sumburgh Airport was also forced to close, re-opening at 8.30am, as attempts to clear the runway of snow were made.

Shetland will remain under a yellow weather warning for snow and ice through to the end of Thursday.
