Transport / NorthLink warns of more disruption
HIGH WINDS are set to bring more disruption to the NorthLink ferries this week.
The Hrossey’s sailing from Lerwick to Aberdeen tonight (Tuesday) could be subject to some weather-related delays, NorthLink said.
On Wednesday the Hjaltland will sail from Lerwick an hour earlier – at 4.30pm – before going to both Orkney and Aberdeen.
The freight boat Helliar’s arrival into Lerwick on Thursday could also be delayed by up to two hours.
On Thursday the Hjaltland is also likely to sail from Aberdeen earlier than the scheduled time of 5pm.
NorthLink said the sailing was under review, with an early departure likely, and a further update would follow on Wednesday.
