THE SHETLAND Young Farmers group put on another eye-catching display of Christmas-themed tractors in Lerwick on Tuesday evening.

Despite the drizzly weather there was a good turn-out for the popular event, which saw festively decorated tractors run between the Marts and the Anderson High School car park, via the Esplanade.

This year the event was raising money for Fishermen’s Mission.

So far an online fundraiser has taken in more than £500, with donations still able to be made.

Christmas tractor runs are not just held in town though, with one for example taking place in Skeld and Reawick at the weekend.
