Transport / Orkney stops under review as NorthLink warns of disruption
NORTHLINK is warning of disruption to its ferry services on Wednesday and Thursday night.
The Hjaltland’s stop in Kirkwall on Wednesday night, on her way to Aberdeen, is under review with the possibility of cancellation due to the forecast.
An update is due to follow on Wednesday morning.
Thursday’s northbound sailing from Aberdeen could also be affected.
The Hjaltland is due to depart for Lerwick at 5pm, but NorthLink said her departure could be brought forward.
Her stop in Kirkwall on Thursday night is also under review, with updates to follow as forecasts are updated.
The ferry operator is warning of disruption through to Monday 9 December.
