Court / Man bailed after appearing on drugs supply charges
A THIRTY ONE year old man from Glasgow has been released on bail after appearing in private and via videolink at Inverness Sheriff Court on two charges of being concerned in the supply of drugs.
Marc Kerr made no plea and was committed for further examination.
A date for his next court appearance has still to be confirmed.
The court appearance follows the arrest of a 31 year old man in Lerwick on Friday morning after police stopped a van at the Holmsgarth ferry terminal and seized heroin and cocaine with an estimated street value of over £125,000.
The case was heard at Inverness Sheriff Court rather Lerwick due to a court holiday on Monday.
