Letters / Will the MP listen to those who think tunnels are unrealistic?

This is a direct quote from Shetland News (Monday 19 August 2024):

“Carmichael said that the SIC was misguided in its approach and suggested that its position was more an excuse for officials not to be exposed to the anger of islanders who have been suffering from a poor ferry service.”

Many of us sympathise with poor service but how will Carmichael and Wishart hear the views of those in Shetland who think tunnels are unrealistic and will deprive other areas of future funding?

Populist politicians often draw attention. Farage and Sir Stunt Ed backed by his fellow LibDems???
