Letters / Does anyone remember Tom Jamieson, born 1871?

I would like to know more about Tom Jamieson, who was born at Gluss in 1871 and moved to Lerwick. He was a fisherman, and later a labourer for Lerwick Town Council.

Tom was a founder member and active member of the Lerwick branch of the Social Democratic Federation in 1905, and of the Lerwick Labour Party twenty years later.

He married Jane Bolt from Gulberwick in 1915, and died there in 1955.  Does anyone remember him in his later years, or recall hearing about him?
