Letters / A bizarre joke
I refer to Mr Johnson’s observations about the missing LM622 flight. An aircraft that, seemingly, vanished. Bermuda triangle???
Transport to and from Shetland is now a bizarre joke. It’s difficult to get bookings on the ferry and now our airline shows an ever-deteriorating reliability.
I met with some confused passengers yesterday. They were not even advised they could seek compensation for the cancelled flight. No reason for the cancellation has ever been given and they were wondering if their flight to Orkney would suffer a similar problem.
They will now be provided with details of how to claim compensation, but not by Loganair
I would urge Moraig Lyall, SIC, Ms Wishart MSP and Mr Carmichael, our influential MP, to get to the bottom of transport issues to and from our Island.
I wait to see their actions.
